My birthday or just another day!

Over the last few years my mindset about celebrating birthdays has been pretty tamed in comparison to my younger years. In previous years there was an excitement of turning another year older. I assume its not just me and others feel the same. In my case birthday celebrations are now concentrated on my nieces and nephews. As a family we're not so big on celebrating birthdays however I do try to make it an occasion for the children. Still its a lovely feeling being the birthday girl and i'm sure when I reach a milestone like my 40th i'll be out with my friends with all the bells and whistles.
