WORDS FROM THE HEART
Cherish are the summer moments we shared in the sun, the times I felt secure in your arms. The memorable moments felt loved and warm. The times we laughed, Oh how I adored! Sitting back and watching times and sensing you by my side. Watching my fears slowly redeemed by hope. Naive to believe it would last, like autumn changes from summer last. Painful memories come flooding back, reminiscent of previous times elapsed.
The feeling of emotion but no where to run, the failing to see what I had done.
Now days have passed and lessons learnt and knowing there is nothing more I could have done. Free to live without the hurt and consider what I have learnt.
One regret I wish I had done, to end as I had planned and not beyond. For the memories that exist all remain are nothing but of pain.
